Some students hate this subject because of the confusing agglomeration of numbers the teachers seem to conjure when they are teaching.

Millions of students don’t like to have anything to do with this subject because of the confusing agglomeration of numbers the teachers seem to conjure when they are teaching.

The phobia for mathematics among student is a universal phenomenon and this is perhaps the reason it is almost universally believed that this subject is very difficult.

It may be argued that the hatred some students have for this subject is attributable to their poor foundations in the subject.

In December 2017, the National Mathematical Centre (NMC) in Abuja raised concern over over the poor performance of female students in Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences.

The Centre said the general perception among female students the subject is not for them.

This may be true to a great extent but the more general perception among Nigerian students is that Mathematics is difficult. Even those who are studying it in Universities share this belief.

This same belief is the reason some

secondary school leavers seeking admission » into polytechnics and universities also try to look for courses that are absolutely free from calculations.

Unfortunately, there is no course they can study in any higher institution that does not require at least a credit in Mathematics as part of their O’level requirements.

They just have to pass it.

However, if your hatred for Mathematics stinks so much that you can not cope with numbers, you really need to go for courses that require not much knowledge in mathematics

So, admission seeker who detests mathematics will find solace in these 12 courses.
