It is no more news that the Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU), led by its Chairman, Pastor Olusegun Lana, has been in an iron head move against the College Management led by the Acting Provost, Mrs Adeyeye, by shooting up an industrial action based on their quest for the payment of their long due Peculiars in arrears.
Meanwhile, in a brief interview held with the COEASU Chairman yesterday by the Campus Newsmen- The Grammaticus, he stated that the Union members are very ready to resume for work ASAP provided the Management would pay at least part of the arrears as earlier agreed on by the Union’s Congress Men. Catalyst who published on the media, copies of the 100 and 200 levels students examination continuum timetable, with emphasis that all the concerned students are to resume back to campus with immediate effect as the exam continues Saturday 13th May 2017.
However, the Chairman of the Senate’s Committee on Academics, Sen. Sobaloju Babatunde, a.k.a. Charity confirmed that the NCE 100Level students’ examination timetable has also been released and that they are to start before the UI 300 and 400 Levels students start theirs.
The NCE 300 level students are also now free to continue with the registration of their project works and other academic activities as expected.
