Following recent uproar between the executive arm and legislative arm of the University of Abuja students’ union government that left the union’s president, Ajiboye Okoyekola suspended for misappropriation and embezzlement, it has been reported that the rifts have been settled.
Recall the president said his suspension was biased, our correspondence, Joy Orifa reports that a letter posted at strategic positions on the school campus some days ago reveals that the suspension which started on the 27th of July has been lifted and the president re-instated based on the thorough investigation.
It is reported that in the letter, reasons for the suspension were stated and the president agreed to alleged misappropriation claims as he stated reasons for withdrawing from the union’s account.
As a resolution in the letter, Mr. Ajiboye appealed and agreed to complete the entire projects, the funds were meant for as the lawmakers decided to accept the president’s appeal and endorse his reinstatement.
